Before going to work in ionic 3 you need to do some step

1.  Download NodeJs

Copy this link https://nodejs.org/en/download/

Download LTS Version and installed You can check whether it is installed by opening a new command line window and type 

npm –v

and enter it will show version.

2. after installed NodeJs run this command in command line

npm install ionic cordova –g

after install check version

ionic -v
